Inflation



Amazing how prices vary from one section of town to another, yet not even ten miles apart. Remember when gas was .98 cents? Yes, that is as far back as my memory goes!!

yeah, well...I remember back to 0.10 per gallon. When I got my first car, gas was 0.29. I just about had a cow when it went to 0.55 per gallon. I was a poor student on a very very tight budget. My poor little car, which I got from your dad, only took 10 gallons. No A/C and a standard transmission, but it got 30 miles/gal. I'm still poor, but gas costs $2.80/gal. ::sigh:: and my car only gets 16 miles/gal. Those were the days!
